Irene Marsit should be dismissed from her position as a commissioner, according to the Muchelule tribunal that was established to look into her and the other commissioners who had differing opinions.
Dr. William Samoei Arap Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, carries out the tribunal's instruction. After her coworkers quit in anticipation of the tribunal led by Muchelule's probe, she did this.
Early on in the investigation, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka said that the Tribunal looking into IEBC Commissioners was illegal.
When it urged that President William Ruto set up a tribunal to look into the commissioners, the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee, in Kalonzo's opinion, broke the law.
He contends that an Independent Commission is investigating the matter and that the Judge Muchelule-led Tribunal's actions are unconstitutional because Parliament was not entitled to provide its approval.
In addition, Ruto designated the following individuals as tribunal members: Mathew Njaramba Nyabena, Col. (Ret.) Saeed Khamis Saeed, Carolyne Kamende Daudi, and Linda Gakii Kiome.
The roles of joint secretaries have been assigned to Irene Tunta Nchoe and Kibet Kirui Emmanuel.
Having Zamzam Abdi Abib's aid, Peter Munge Murage will represent the tribunal as its lead lawyer.
