The tribunal probing the conduct of four Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Commissioners has revealed that Azimio One Kenya Coalition had a plan to rig the 2022 presidential poll.
According to reports, National Security Advisory Council (NSAC) visited Bomas of Kenya with a proposal to moderate results and have Azimio candidate Raila Odinga declared the winner or force a run-off.
Tribunal revealed what Wafula Chebukati said that NSAC, Wako and Tuju warned that if he declares William Ruto as President the country would burn. He claimed that Tuju, Wako and advocate Kyalo Mbobu visited him at 3am on August 15 at Bomas.
Azimio on the other hand insists that their victory was stolen.
Jeremiah Kioni claimed that manipulation of the election results mostly occurred in Mt Kenya region. He also alleged that Raila garnered 8,170,355 votes or 57.53 per cent of votes cast against Ruto's 5,915,973 votes (41.66 per cent of votes cast) as claimed by a whistleblower.
