How Candidates Tactfully Got themselves shortlisted for CAS Positions: Youth Leader Reveals

Youth leader Dr Kinyanjui Koimbori has revealed the tactful ways through which some individuals got themselves shortlisted for the position of Chief Administrative Secretaries (CAS) within various government ministries. Speaking to Media personality Mashirima Kapombe, the former MCA aspirant revealed that some of the candidates relied on "ujinga na ujasiri" translated as ignorance and courage respectively.

The climate change expert noted that some of the candidates had their political and public service history engulfed by court cases and EACC scrutiny but went ahead to apply and submit their names for consideration. According to Dr Koimbori, this can only be referred to as "ignorance" as not many people are too wise to do that.

Again, the youth leader says that "courage" also played a very important role for some of the shortlisted candidates. This is because they overcame their fears and went ahead to do the application despite the unfavorable engulfments. They had confidence in the ruling party whom they had served and toiled for.

Recently, the Public Service Commission of Kenya published a list of candidates that were shortlisted for the positions of Chief Administrative Secretaries who will work will the ruling alliance. It is clear that majority of these applicants are allied to the President and to the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. Those who remained faithful to the President and his manifesto during the campaigns constitute the larger percentage of the CAS appointees.
