Betrayal Of The Highest Level? Bad News To Moses Kuria As Ex Mt Kenya MP Says This On DP's Position

Hours after Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria conditioning the 2022 presidential candidates to pick a running mate from Mt Kenya, a series of controversial opinions from influential and powerful legislators have chipped in at stake following the technicalities in next year's government.

The former Mukurweini MP Hon Kabando Wa Kabando has credited the ongoing negotiations on Mt Kenya unity party among Hon Martha Karua, Hon Kabogo, Hon Moses Kuria and Hon Mwangi Kiunjuri who have grounded their unity call to the Mt Kenya elected leaders ahead of 2022 general election. Kabando Wa Kabando noted that equal distribution of resources in regard to their myriad votes is key factor that he solidly agreed with Hon Moses Kuria.

However, the fierce Gatundu South legislator has ignited endless reactions after claiming that the Mt Kenya region MUST be take at higher stake in 2022 government following the percentage of votes they will foster from the region. Kuria demanded that the positioned of Deputy President shouldn't be negotiable going by the fact that Central region posses 40% of the votes in the country.

"The position of the Deputy President is not negotiable. Commencing with our votes, 40% of the country are from Mt Kenya region. Second thing, We want to have a share, a proportional share of the government. If we have 22 ministers, 6-7 should come from Mt Kenya regio, 40% of PS, 40% of Parastatals and 40% of ambassadorial positions should come from Mt Kenya region" he said.

Contrary, the former Murukweini MP has slammed Kuria's condition for the Mt Kenya region to be offered the Deputy President position. He informed that the region lives to the fact that it requires NATIONALIST VISIONARIES who can plunge the country's economy forward rather than relying on ethnic demands.

"I fully agree with Martha Karua, Hon Kabogo, Hon Kiunjuri and Hon Moses Kuria: Equality of the Vote and Equitable Distribution of Resources. I however totally disagree that our (central) ethnic group needs post of PRESIDENT/DP to secure or prosper. WE only need NATIONALIST VISIONARIES" he wrote.
