In anticipation of the inauguration of Kenya's fifth president, festivities have already begun. The Bomas claim that the IEBC will soon announce the new president-elect. Eldoret residents are already having a party in anticipation of William Ruto's victory and potential election as the country's next leader.
However, this does not necessarily imply that he has triumphed. We must hold off until the IEBC makes the official results public. Ruto edged out Raila at the time of publication, despite the fact that the contest was quite close.
The ecstatic William Ruto fans were seen carrying signs, and some even had them mounted on their cars. William Ruto comes from Uasin Gishu, while one of the vice president's strongholds is Eldoret.
It's unknown who will win the election because supporters of Raila Odinga have also been seen having fun elsewhere. We're still expecting the IEBC.
