Rigathi Gachagua has finally come out clean exposing his pure intentions for president Uhuru Kenyatta. He said that he doesn't have any form of hatred for president Uhuru Kenyatta. He promised to protect president Uhuru Kenyatta and ensure he receives his retirement benefits when he will have retired. Speaking after being chosen as DP Ruto's running mate, Gachagua said this;
"Despite persecuting Dr Ruto and his allies, myself included, we will protect you," Mr Gachagua assured President Kenyatta.
He went ahead and promised to make sure that Uhuru gets his rights as per the constitution of Kenya.
"As your friend and personal assistant between 2001 and 2006, I assure you that you shall be safe in retirement. We will ensure that you get all your perks and benefits as per the law, I will be there for you," Mr Gachagua told the President.

Gachagua said that despite the president painting them as corrupt for political reasons, he promised that no one will come after Uhuru after his retirement.
