Mt Kenya Leaders Conversation With Uhuru Seals DP Ruto's Fate as Kanini Kega Deliver Bad News

Deputy President William Ruto's statehouse bid is in jeopardy as details emerge about Mt Kenya leader's conversation with President Uhuru over his succession.

Mount Kenya Foundation Vice Chairman Titus Ibue has disclosed that President Uhuru is now determined to abide by the Constitution and that he is ready to leave office in the year 2022.

Mr. Ibue has however said that on matters of Uhuru's succession, the answer is already on the table and that DP Ruto's goose is long-cooked.

The MKF Vice Chairman has disclosed that before settling on Raila Odinga, President Uhuru asked them what kind of advice they would give him about his succession.

“Our President expressed his wish to abide by the Constitution as his term is coming to an end. He has asked us what kind of advice would you give me about my succession," MKF vice-chairman Titus Ibue said.

Adding that "We told him we are not going to give you a name but we want to give you a person who has the character we would want to see in State House."

According to Kieni Member of Parliament Hon Kanini Kega has informed that it should be clear by the look of things that the state has settled on Raila Odinga's presidency making it clear that "the ground has shifted and things will no longer be the same for Ruto and his Tangatanga camp."

Kanini Kega has continued to inform that the Mt Kenya region is slowly embracing the former Prime Minister although the plan to market him properly is at initial stages.

“In a few days he was able to climb half of the mountain, with more efforts he will reach the peak sooner than later,” Kega added.
