Kisumu county Governor Anyang Nyong'o is regarded as one of the most educated, dedicated and decorated leaders in the country. Since taking over the office of the Governor, he has been doing everything possible to make lives of his residents better and today again, he made a big move that will definitely leave many Kisumu residents happy.
Through his official facebook account, Anyang Nyong'o made a big move to partner the county with GIZ. That move will now make Kisumu County a beneficiary of Agri-Jobs for Youths Initiative, a project that is aimed at addressing issues of youth unemployment.
Governor Anyang Nyong'o went on to explain that under that project, 5,000 youths will be trained on Agribusiness skills, 500 youths will be mentored to be entrepreneurs owning micro and small scale businesses while 10,000 youths will be trained on basic agriculture production skills through the county agricultural extension services and private sector engagements.
