After Cancelling His Mt. Kenya Tour, Here Where H.E. The Deputy President Dr. Ruto Went To (Photos)

Kenya's second in command H.E the Deputy President Dr. William Ruto was supposed to hold a series of rallies in Mt. Kenya today. However, reliable sources including his supporters claimed that the Deputy President was forced to cancel his tour.

It is not yet clear the reason behind the cancellation of the tour. Yesterday, the DP was accompanied by legislatures to Nyandarua County and he was supposed to proceed with his campaigns today.

However, despite ending his Mt Kenya region tour abruptly, Dr. Ruto did not just sit and relax in his area of residence. Instead, he went ahead to visit Kwale county under the invitation of the county boss Home Salim Mvurya.

“Joined the leadership and residents of Kinango Town in Kinango Constituency, Kwale County, for the dedication and launch of the Duruma full Bible in the company of area Governor Salim Mvurya,” Dr. William Ruto.

Dr. Ruto witnessed the official dedication and launch of the Duruma language Bible at Kinango Town. Present in the event were other coastal leaders including Kinango MP, Benjamin Tayari, Mohammed Ali (Nyali MP), Feisal Abdallah (Msambweni), Khatib Mwashetani (Lunga Lunga), and Owen Baya (Kilifi North). In addition, Wajir West MP Ahmed Kolosh was present.
