The Central Organizations of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli has teared down the Murang'a County Senator Irungu Kang'ata, saying that he was day dreaming while writing his letter to President Uhuru Kenyatta concerning the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.
Atwoli who was speaking on an interview at Citizen Television, termed Kang'ata as a confused person who doesn't understand or even know where the country's politics is being run. "Kang'ata was day dreaming, we have seen so many people who are suffering from sleeping sickness in the country. Kang'ata is not the first one and he will not be the last one." Said Mr Atwoli. The COTU Secretary General also added that Kang'ata is very junior in Kenyan politics and therefore he has nothing to tell or advice the President about his region.
"Kang'ata is not even known by anybody, how can he start advising the president about his own region. You can see for yourself now that this young man was day-dreaming Jeff all the county assemblies from Mt Kenya region have passed the BBI report." He Added.
This comes after the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report recieved a massive support by the county assemblies across the country. The report was voted in by all the seven counties from the Mt Kenya region, in which it was being doubted whether it even go through in a single county.
