Meru County was a beehive of political activities on Saturday thanks to the tough Gubernatorial race which is expected. On one side, Deputy President William Ruto was campaigning for his UDA Gubernatorial candidate, Senator Mithika Linturi whereas on the other side, Meru Deputy Governor was campaigning for his boss's reelection
This is Titus Ntuchiu who held a counterattack rally sone few kilometers from where Deputy President William Ruto was. This was in Akithii ward where the Central Kenya politician singlehandedly pulled huge crowds whilst campaigning for Governor Kiraitu Murungi.
He had earlier launched a project before addressing the crowd that had so far gathered. This came by surprise since majority of the residents were expected to attend DP Ruto's rally but they opted to gather and listen to one of their own. It is good to note that Governor Kiraitu and Deputy Governor Titus Ntuchiu will be using their Bus Party ticket
