Failed Coup Attempt Takes Place In Sudan Early Tuesday Morning. State Media Confirms.

A failed coup has taken place in Sudan this Tuesday morning and this was foiled by the military before it escalated.

According to reports by sources that sought anonymity, the attempted failed coup was undertaken by element's from former president Omar Albashir's regime.

The Sudanese government source further stated that there were measures that had been taken to contain the attempted coup and even the number of people involved in it were limited.

The source further revealed that the coup involved an attempted take over of the State owned Radio station that is located in

Omdurman across the Nile River from the Capital, Khartoum.

More information on this attempted failed coup is expected out with an official communication from the Sudanese government.
