Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiangi has informed the intelligence report his Ministry has received on what has been causing chaos ahead of each general election promising that this time they are very much keen to make sure that such won't happen.
According to CS Matiangi, he has informed that he has received an intelligence report showing that "in most cases, it is the politicians who incite members of their communities against their fellow Kenyans for selfish political gains."
The Ministry of Interior has said that those politicians who will be caught inciting the public will be dealt with promising that his Ministry is determined they deliver a peaceful, free, and fair elections come the August 9th polls.
Matiangi has said that moreso his Ministry is keen on those politicians from volatile borders who have been on the record of inciting the masses.
"We will not allow this. We are keenly watching the conduct of our political leaders especially those from volatile borders that have had a conflict,” he said.
