Bahati Constituency Member of Parliament Hon Kimani Ngunjiri is set to face the law after he and his team members are accused of assaulting the team of his opponent, Jubilee party aspirant Irene Njoki.
According to the Star news reports, Irene Njoki and her team have alleged that Hon Kimani Ngunjiri and his people forced the campaign trail to switch off their announcement of Martha Karua's rally, and went ahead to assault the driver.
"The MP came to me insisted that I have to stop the announcement that Martha Karua will be making several stops in Bahati but I could not stop because I had been hired to do so. It was at this point that he started punching me." The driver of the camp of Njoki's team stated.
