The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission led by Chairman Wafula Chebukati had decided to suspend gubernatorial election in the counties of Mombasa and Kakamega .
Those who are aspiring to be the next Governor of Mombasa County include Abdulwasmad Nassir Sharrif who is vying under the Azimio La Umoja side Orange Democratic Movement Party, Senator Hassan Omar on a United Democratic Alliance Party, Kingi William amomg other candidates.
Opinion Poll results displayed here below shows that Nassir Shariff is leading with a percentage popularity of 53 percent while Senator Hassan Omar of the United Democratic Alliance Party is second with 18percent.
A percentage of 12 percent refused to answer the survey while 15 percent were undecided on who they are willing to vote for.
