Kenyan second in command His Excellency the deputy president William Ruto has hosted several leaders at his home for Utamanduni day Celebrations.
This information has been revealed by Murang'a county Senator Irungu Kang'ata through his official social media accounts on Monday evening.
According to Kang'ata, several leaders converged in Karen at the official residence of the second in command among them leaders from Murang'a county.
Those present included Kandara Constituency Member of Parliament Honourable Alice Muthoni Wahome who hails from Murang'a county.
Others present are Orange Democratic Movement ODM party nominated Member of Parliament Honourable Wilson Sossion who has since decamped from the Raila Odinga led party.
Honourable Kimani Ichungwa from Kikuyu constituency in Kiambu as well as Kericho county senator Aaron Cheruiyot were also present during the event.
