President William ruto has this morning made two high profile appointments and who are expected to begin their service to the nation immediately. This coming at a time when the head of state is slowly shaping up his administration just a few weeks after the swearing-in of principal secretaries and cabinet secretaries.
In the Friday morning appointment the head of state has appointed former military chief Julius Karangi to become the board head of the National population and development which was being headed by a former Ally of outgoing president Uhuru kenyatta.
Also in the appointment, the head of state has made public that former transport cabinet secretary Michael Kamau will become the new chairperson of the National Health Insurance fund which has been facing major turbulence after it emerged that there was discrepancy in the contributions by Kenyans of different job groups.
