Kiboro villagers on Sunday evening were full of joy during the official opening of a compassion house built by the area MP and other well wishers.
As promised after public outcry, Konoin legislator has delivered a beautiful house to a poor family in his constituency. Peter and Winny Chepkwony were living in a dilapidated home and their neighbors called for help on social media.
"Attention has been drawn to a family living in a dilapidated house at Kiboro village. I've pledged to do a 3-roomed semi-permanent (timber) house. Will subsequently give full scholarship to the child who is in secondary school," The MP said 3 weeks ago.
The MP Brighton Yegon promised to build them a 3 bedroomed house and unlike other political promises the house was ready in 3 weeks and from the outside looked decent and much more better than the previous thatched hut.
"DELIVERING ON A PROMISE
When you are blessed, bless others.
