Kiagu ward by-election is taking a new twist with each camp fighting as hard as possible to win the seat. The battle is more between the jubilee party and UDA party with each camp trying to outshine the other to prove their inroads into the Mt Kenya region.
Kiagu ward by-election has proved that UDA is a force to reckon with. It's clear already that UDA seems to have taken over the Mt Kenya region given the massive by-elections that they have won as of recent.
The fact that almost all local leaders in Meru are campaigning for the UDA party just confirms that the possible results are a clean win for the UDA party in the by-election for as always politics is local and it's more determined by the direction of the local leaders. The chances of the jubilee party winning the by-election without the support of many local leaders is very slim.
We can wish aspirants all the best but it's a fact that they are all focused on winning. May the best candidate win though it's clear the hustler's nation is a bit ahead in the Kiagu ward by-election given the facts that have been enumerated.
