Roots Party leader Professor George Wajackoyah has expressed his frustration with the IEBC after what happened today, where he was barred from voting as Kits Kiems failed to identify him at their polling station in Kakamega, in what was said to be malicious and frustrating.
In the press, Wajackoyah revealed that his personal details were not recorded in the kits, and IEBC officials never had a very good explanation for the inconvenience. He added that he had been stripped of his democratic right since Dp William Ruto, Raila Odinga cast their votes without fault, adding that he could go to court later if forced to do the same do to seek justice.
"I'm very disappointed in the IEBC as why didn't they test their own kits to make sure they worked and to avoid disappointment as I couldn't vote? I'm Kenyan too, and I can assure you that Ruto and Raila cast their own voices. That could be another step, or do you want me to go to court? These kits should have been tested earlier to ensure we are making good progress,” says Wajackoyah.
