Public Service Comission has today withdrawn the Human Resource functions deligated to Ministry of Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha. PSC has said the functions will now be undertaken with Education PS Belio Kipsang.￼
In press statement delivered by PSC wrote " The Public Service Commission (PSC) has withdrawn the power to manage the human resource function it has deligated to the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Education , Prof. George Magoha with immediate effect. In his place the Commission has designated the Principal Secretary for Early Learning and Basic Education Dr. Richard Belio Kipsang ,to be incharge of all human resource matters in the Ministry of Education."
This was after a viral video showing Education Cabinet Prof. George Magoha Allegedly insulting Uasin Gishu County director of Education known as Gitonga Mbaka.
The video brought alot of issues in the Education sector with Education stakeholders from Uasin Gishu county ordering CS Magoha to issue an apology to Mr. Mbaka while others even wanted President Kenyatta to fire CS Magoha
