Uhuru's Ally Compares Raila's 6k Pledge To Jobless Youths With Ruto's Kimwarer & Arror dams Pledge

"If Raila Odinga promised my household 6K and failed to deliver, I would not even bother much. In fact I would be surprised if he delivered.

It's a good pledge but there is no family that will be sitting somewhere waiting for that money. No one resign from a job so as to become unemployed and qualify for the money.

The disaster is when you promise Kimwarer and Arror dams, you go ahead to allocate funds and even payout, then the money and the dams go missing, then you come to tell us that 'the only money in question is 7 billion'. Now that is the real problem Ladies and Gentlemen."

This is according to vocal and popular Senior Lawyer allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta, Wahome Thuku.Picture for illustrative purpose.

This comes following the latest remarks by Prime Minister Raila Odinga, where he promised jobless youths an amount not less than 6K a month once elected President after August 2022.

His bold observations and confident comparison attracted lots of reactions where different Kenyans gave different views and opinions as captured below.Picture for illustrative purpose.

*Why don't you come with clear issues instead of discussing an individual. Wish you can come with an idea and run with it like the TangaTanga 'bottom up economic approach' instead of always criticizing others.

*The problem is determining who is jobless and who benefits from the said pledge. Again there will be no lazy body sitting and waiting for that money. Stop there Wakili, thank you very much for the insight.
