The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has today engaged with residents within Nairobi City. Odinga addressed people in places like Ruaraka in the capital.
The ODM party leader was accompanied by some Azimio leaders like Mathare MP Hon. Anthony Oluoch who also addressed the crowd.
Surprisingly, Raila Odinga did what he was not expected of in the CBD. He gave out Ksh. 20,000 to boda boda riders who he told to go use the money to fuel their motorcycles.
If we can remember, Raila has been against the issue of handout for a long time now. He was condemning the act especially when his competitor William Ruto was doing it in the run up to the August election.
It seems Odinga has realized that giving handouts could easily lure most kenyans to vote in favour of an individual. This is after his opponent who used the method trounced him on the ballot.
