2022 presidential seat has attracted many aspirants as the days are nearing. Among those who have already declared their bids are: Deputy President William Ruto, Amani National Confess (ANC)leader Musalia Mudavadi, KANU leader Gideon Moi, the Speaker of the National Assembly Justine Muturi , Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and honorable Moses Kuria.
Central Kenya with its large numbers of voters has attracted these key presidential aspirants to make frequent trips to the region.
Honorable Mudavadi, former Vice president Mr. Musyoka and Deputy President William Ruto have been seen in the current actions making most of their trips to Mt. Kenya .This clearly indicate they are influenced by this large numbers of voters in Mount Kenya and they are likely to pick running mates from this region.
Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Amollo Odinga on the other hand, has not yet declared his presidential bid. But from the look of things he is likely to to on the race. Through the support he is gaining from President Kenyatta he is also likely to pick a running mate from Mt. Kenya regions.
This frequent movement by key presidential aspirants is likely to bare fruit for the Central region people with the Deputy President post.
