Deputy Governor Mrs. Majala Mlaguli of Taita Taveta posted on her Facebook page a photo of Governor Granton Samboja and captioned it, "I visited H.E Governor Samboja this afternoon at his Nairobi home to check on his progress as he recuperates. We thank the Almighty for the grace of fast healing he has experienced and we look forward to his return to the county to follow up on the county's developmental agenda."
Netizens have in equal measure send in their messages of quick recovery to the Governor but as usual, his critics have bashed him on the premise of having poor medical facilities back in his county. They are urging him to come up with a good medical care plan for his county. That which he himself will feel comfortable to be taken care of there than going to Nairobi.
Granton has been ailing for some time now, and if the photo doing rounds on social media is anything to go by, his health has greatly deteriorated. On behalf of opera news family, we wish him quick recovery for him to be able to go back to his county and serve his people.
