Deputy President William Ruto might be facing a looming political storm following the merger talks between Jubilee and ODM party ahead of the 2022 general elections.
Ruto is stands as the only firm 2022 presidential candidate has hinted of using the United Democratic Alliance as his ticket to the top seat. Despite his close allies hinting of possible union with leaders with same vision, his critics are working around the clock to give him a run for his money before the general elections.
He added that it was possible for the parties merger to form a Grand Coalition just as 2003, when the country witnessed post election violence.
"The country is staring at a possibility of a return of a Grand Coalition Government in 2022 should what is being formed win,” posed Onyango.
