During Moi's era, Raila Amollo Odinga was known for his heroism and activist's works of fighting for democracy and fight of corruption in the country.
He was arrested in several occasions due to his resistance to the by then President, Daniel Moi's reign.
One of his infamous arrests happened during the failed coup attempt which followed multiple arrests and prosecution of those suspected to take part in the coup.
Raila Amollo Odinga was arrested and detained in the Manyani maximum Prison before he was later on released.
Old guard John Mwavuda was among the prison guards during that moment who made an unexpected reunion/meet up today.
The two shared some moments together with many thinking that they reminded themselves of their previous experience in Manyani maximum prison.
