As the race for the country's top seat continues to hit up, things seems to be perfectly running well for Orange Democratic Movement party (ODM) boss and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga following the defection of different leaders to his Azimio La Umoja camp.
Just days after over twenty five governors endorsed his bid in Naivasha, a section of elected leaders in Nyamira have joined the Azimio La Umoja movement that is headed by the former prime minister.
The leaders include Nyamira governor Amos Nyaribo, who is a member of Amani National Congress (ANC) party and his deputy governor James Gasemi, Nyamira women rep who was elected on jubilee ticket has also defected to the Azimio La Umoja camp.
In the last general election Nyamira county was dominated by the ruling party Jubilee, but this year things have completely changed with different political aspirants aligning themselves with Azimio La Umoja.
