President William Ruto and his administration should now carry out investigation to identify what went wrong during Uhuru's second term in office that made the security officers to be misused.
His remarks are recorded at the time when there have been an outcry from leaders who have not been hesitant to reveal how they were harassed and intimidated for going against the wishes of President Ruto.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said times without number how the immediate former President used the police as a weapon to harass him and a section of leaders from the mountain region who stood firm by President William Ruto.
Macharia Munene now wants Ruto's administration to carry out investigation in order to realize what really happened to the security department during Uhuru's regime.
"There is need for proper investigation as to what is it that went wrong during Uhuru's government in terms of misuse of the security forces."- Prof. Macharia Munene (Foreign Policy Analyst)
