Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago has hinted that he will be in ballot seeking the county's top seat. While speaking during the opening of St Charles Lwanga church in Soy Mandago pleaded with the congregation to pray for him and also vote for him.
Mandago said that he will be vying for the position in 2032 and he will deliver for the citizens just like he did in his successful tenure as the governor of Uasin Gishu for 10 years.
The governor also urged aspirants whom had accompanied him to the event to seek the approval of Uasin Gishu residents as the decision to choose who will succeed him was on their hands, Mp Caleb kositany, businessman Zedekiah Kiprop Bundotich and former ambassador of Kenya to Pakistan Julius Bitok who are eyeing the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat were present at the event.
The influential politician urged congregants to accompany their prayers with actions and to work hard.
