Raila Odinga of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance coalition is doing everything to ensure that he takes the throne from outgoing President Uhuru and he has the upper hand as compared to deputy president Ruto. Uhuru Kenyatta promised Raila Odinga that he will campaign for him in mt Kenya region simply because the region is perceived to be having a great influence in an election.
While addressing the residents of the people of Mt Kenya region, Raila Odinga revealed that he support the late President Mwai Kibaki until he was elected as the president of Kenya. He revealed that he campaign for Kibaki while he was out of the country and he is now requesting one favor from them ahead of August polls. He called upon the residents of mt Kenya region to vote for him to be the fifth president of Kenya as a way of paying the debt.
" Pia mi nataka mnirudishie mkono kwa niaba ya Kibaki. Mtarudisha mkono?" Raila Odinga said.
