Today Tanga Tanga members from Rift valley were at the Deputy President's residence in Karen to discuss their 2022 Agenda that will be beneficial to citizens from the grass roots and help the country develop from bottom up. This was the first time ever the Rift valley leaders collectively (Governors, Senators, MPs and MCAs) met to speak about their agenda as Tanga Tanga.
Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok who was the chair said irregardless of what people say, the Tanga Tanga members supports the president even his opening of projects in Nyanza and they will always support him in realistic matters.
While responding to the Media Nanok said the Tanga Tanga meeting was to discuss about the agenda for the local people whom they represent and how do they put their agenda tight and solid coming 2022. He also added that they thought of reducing importation of goods as compared to exports and also Investing more on Tourism, Wildlife and Forestry sectors.
Nanok said they agreed to form a meeting of 14 members to work on the details.
Also Kimani Ngunjiri said that they have all agreed to be aware that if indeed their candidate, Deputy President William Ruto will be the next president,he will not be able to know all their problems because he will turn out to be a very busy man on matters inside and out side the country for the benefit of all citizens and so they'll have to plan themselves early on how they will deliver to Kenyans.
