"You Made A Mistake" Rigathi Told By Mutahi Ngunyi After He Did This In Kisumu And Nairobi.

After Professor Mutahi Ngunyi's last trip to Kisumu City for the national music festivals, he told Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua not to try to be better than his boss.

According to Prof. Ngunyi, the Presidency is a "jealous" seat, and no one should shine brighter than the President. This can be traced back to when the second president of the Republic of Kenya, Daniel Moi, was the vice president and bowed to the first president, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, before succeeding him as president.

At the Kasarani International Sports Centre installation ceremony, Deputy President Mutahi Ngunyi argued that the Deputy President wanted to outshine President Dr. William Samoei Ruto.

Consequently, Vice President Rigathi Gachagua was flown to Kisumu yesterday by a Kenya Air Force aircraft, where he commissioned the national music celebrations now underway in the country. Rigathi Gachagua is the acting president right now, since President William Samoei Ruto is on a state trip outside of the country.
