Narok county Senator Ledama Olekina is in Moyale which is part of Marsabit county. Senator Ledama Olekina's stated purpose for visiting Moyale is to unite all youths across the marginalized communities.
In a statement that Senator Ledama Olekina gave he said, "Thanks Sudiboy for welcoming us to Moyale! Our focus is to unite all youths across our marginalised communities first, then we move together to the rest of Kenya!"
However some Kenyans did not agree with the narrative being championed by senator Ledama Olekina. One Kenyan responded to Olekina's statement by saying that, "There's nothing like marginalization. Tell the governors to invest in basic infrastructure first rather than matters which are not basic needs for their people. If they had made the right decisions these counties could have been very far in terms of development."
Another Kenyan warned Senator Ledama Olekina to stop the divisive narrative of us vs them and come out clearly on whether he is part of Deputy President William Ruto's camp.
