His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta will lead the Nation in marking the 58th Madaraka Day Celebrations, on Tuesday 1st June 2021, at the new Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium in Mamboleo, Kisumu County.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and Her Excellency First Lady Margaret Kenyatta have this afternoon landed in Kisumu County to kick-off a three-day working visit of the Lakeside city and the Nyanza Region.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has landed at Kisumu International Airport at around 2:56 PM for a state visit of the Lakeside City.
The Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces is set to be received by Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Kisumu County Governor Prof Peter Anyang' Nyong'o among other leaders.
During the visit, the Head of State, will officially open complete National Government projects, inspect ongoing initiatives and launch new projects.
The President will be joined by several National and Regional leaders during his visit to Kisumu including former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o among others.
