President Hon. William Samoei Ruto was present at a public event that the IEBC team presided over on Monday. The chief executive officer of the IEBC, Marjan Hussain Marjan, argued that the commission is struggling to improve impartiality and fairness due to public and other political leaders' mistrust, and as a result, make every decision that was hotly contested in the most recent general election transparent.
Because he was always willing to accept whatever results made public by the board, he claimed that Ruto was his best and most disciplined candidate in the last election. Because he didn't cast any doubt on the board's work, he claimed, they were always at peace with him. On the other hand, Raila actually contested their findings in court.
He issued a message to the community encouraging it to have faith in the new team that President William Ruto is leading and thanked those who have supported them despite the obstacles.
