Battle For Mumias East Constituency Take A New Twist With The Entrance Of A Doctor In The Race.

The coming elections are proving to be the most competitive elections that has never been experienced in Kenya for every long time the presidential elections are going to be hotly contested as it us being seen between the front runners .However we should also be preparing for a tough battle at the constituency level as many political aspirants are trying to outdo each other in the name of campaigning. What the citizens of the country are wondering is what will happen when IEBC will officially declare election campaign period.

For Instance in Mumias east constituency things are getting more and more complicated especially since the withdrawal of the current member of parliament hon Benjamin washiali from the race.

Those eyeing the seat especially hon Wamatsi had thought that the competition would be easy as washiali was his only strongest opponent but no hon Peter Salasya famously Known as PK has already caused panic to him forcing him to change tact and improve on his engagement with residents.

The entrance of Dr Ben Makokha in the race has also complicated matters more for other candidates. Hon Dr Ben is well known in the constituency for his generous support to the needy.He is well known far and wide for his support to the needy students who wanted to join teaching. He has a teacher training college in Vihiga county where he has helped many need students from Mumias east constituency who needed to train as teachers In Eshiakhulo Village he picked a young man who had lost hope and trained him as a doctor now working with AMREF.His development record and support. from hon Washiali will give other candidates sleepless nights.However its the residents who will decide who their next member of parliament will be.
