Former national assembly majority leader honourable Aden Duale has dismissed orange democratic movement party leader Raila Odinga’s 2022 presidential bid saying that he does not have the interest of north eastern region at heart.
Garissa town member of parliament further added that orange democratic movement party leader Raila Odinga time in politics is up and he should retire honorably as he had in his previous attempts of becoming the president of kenya.
"Days are gone when few people sit in a corner representing different tribes and regions in the formation of the government" Duale said.
He further said that resources had been controlled from the centre for a number of years adding that the former adminstrations had been using their positions to develop their region at the expenseof other regions.
On matters of devolution,he said that it has brought equity and equality in distribution of resources across the country.
He further said that his people will support deputy president William Ruto presidential bid adding that they have political pact with the deputy president.
