The United Democratic Alliance party has announced a vacancy in the party's ticket for Mathira parliamentary seat. This has occurred since it's holder, Rigathi Gachagua was chosen as the running mate for Dr William Ruto in the coming general elections.
In a statement released by the party, successful aspirants are encouraged to apply for that position in three days before the party takes a step.
"On 15th May 2022, Honorable Rigathi Gachagua the UDA Candidate for member of National Assembly Mathira constituency was nominated as the UDA presidential candidate.
As a result, he will not be contesting for the member of parliament seat Mathira constituency.
In view of this development. UDA party now invites applications from aspirants interested in contesting for this position within the next three days from the date of this notice.The deadline of this application will be on 20th May 2022." Wrote the party's National Elections board chairman.
