Atwoli's pre-campaign attitude towards President Ruto spike internet after meeting the President.

Has "watu wa Sugoi kateni miti" phrase been replaced with pandeni miti Sugoi? Netizens twist Atwoli's pre-campaign phrase after he was spotted among Western region leaders who met with the President H.E William Samoei Ruto on 1st, December 2022 at the state house.

The phrase became a discussion by netizens after the President met a section of leaders from the Luhya community among them being the COTU (Central Organization of Trade Unions secretary General Francis Atwoli and held discussions touching on Kenya's ratification of the International Labour Organization (ILO)'s violence and Harassment convention, 2019 (C190).

In his tweet after the meeting, Atwoli said, "This morning, I paid a courtesy call to HE President William Ruto whereby we held discussions on Kenya's ratification of ILO C190 and outsourcing of labour. I also sought an appointment with the head of state to meet and share with @COTU-K Affiliated General Secretaries."

This tweet brought up next reactions among netizens who reminded of Atwoli's pre-campaign hatred towards HE President Ruto and concluded that in politics, there's no permanent enemy.

"If you can't fight them, join them." One of the netizens said.

"Kweli hii siasa husieke Kwa roho." Another netizen added.
