Following pressure of Cabinet secretary for interior Fred Matiang'i to relinquish the seat,he has has blasted the Mt Kenya Leaders and the residents as thankless people because of him meddling in politics.
According to his remarks,he said that UDA, Jubilee and ODM leaders have closed ranks to impeach him as the cabinet secretary of interior.On the other hand Nyeri MP Ngunchiri said that he will initiate the collection of signatures following impeachment of CS Matiang'i.
From his remarks,some of the mount Kenya Leaders have great interest in his position as cabinet secretary for interior.He said that he may relinquish the seat if the pressure goes on.
From him he believes that attacking him is attacking the entire Kisii community and he doesn't want it to happen anymore.To stop this from happening he clearly stated that he may relinquish the seat if this pressure persists.
Meddling in politics cannot be the pertinent issue following his impeachment.To him he only had interest in his duties as CS and not supporting anybody in politics.From him he can't hesitate but to walk out as a way of protecting his Kisii community.
