Kirinyaga governor said in a thread that has elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans that she aims forward to seeing the ODM leader back so that he can continue to represent the Building Bridges Initiative until its goals are met.
Farouk Kibet, an influential aide to Deputy President William Ruto, has blasted political leaders for attacking Members of County Assemblies for discussing the Building Bridges Initiative fully knowing it contained flaws.
Kibet claimed on Friday, via his Twitter account, that MCAs who predominantly supported the report did so after receiving intimidating warnings.
According to reports from the joint Justice and Legal Affairs Committee, only 11 counties discussed the correct text, with multiple versions in the National Assembly and Senate. The members have confirmed, however, that the mistakes will be corrected and that the BBI project will proceed as planned.
