Azimio la umoja One Kenya coalition party leader Raila Odinga has penned a wonderful message to his daughter after the Odinga scion arrived in the neighboring united republic of Tanzania.
In a statement on his official social media handle, the ODM party leader refered to Winnie Odinga as Chogo, a name that is new to most kenyans. Seemingly, that is the name she is refered to with when the Odingas are away from the glare of the public eye.
Besides that, the former prime minister also penned a sweet congratulatory message to her daughter, and indeed to all other kenyan representatives at the east african legislative assembly (EALA) following their swearing in today.
"Congratulations to the whole Kenyan EALA team and to you Chogo. Hongera!" he said.

Winnie Odinga travelled to Arusha for her swearing in as an EALA MP together with eight other kenyan representatives to the regional assembly. She was voted in by members of the national assembly and senators recently.
