Chipukeezy And Team Meet DP Ruto Again, Pledge to Help Him Beat the 'Deep State'

Popular Kenya's comedian and Nacada board member Vincent Mwasia Mutua well known in the entertainment industry as chipukeezy on Thursday morning led his team of upcoming comedians including Nick Chege alias Kartelo and Modesto to an event that was going down at Deputy President William Ruto's official residence in Karen.

Ruto was having an empowerment meeting with about 30 groups of youth drawn from Kibra and Lang'ata constituencies in Nairobi county. The youth received various forms of support from Ruto who instructed them to toss themselves into the business industry and create employment opportunities for themselves instead of waiting for the government.

The event soon turned into a political function as all the speakers vowed to rally behind the self-proclaimed hustler in the upcoming 2022 presidential race and help him outshine the 'deep state' which has been giving William Ruto sleepless nights whenever the upcoming polls are mentioned. Ruto claims that this state is plotting to rig him out of the race and endorse their own candidate.

Kikuyu lawmaker Kimani Ichungwa assured Ruto of winning saying the real deep state is made up of youths who will overwhelmingly vote for him.

Chipukeezy, Modesto and Kartelo were however not left behind as they pledged their full support for William Ruto who has selflessly helped in promoting the youths and the entertainment industry. This is the second time Kartelo and Chipukeezy are attending Ruto's events where they have promised to use their influential positions to win more hearts to William Ruto. Everyone who addressed the delegation expressed his confidence that Ruto will beat the deep state hands down.

On his part, DP Ruto avoided political sentiments but used the opportunity to warn police officers from being used by powerful politicians to spearhead their agenda and asked them to stick to the profession and the law. "I want to tell every public officer and every police officer in Kenya that they must serve professionally and in accordance with the law and the Constitution and nobody should blackmail or intimidate them to run political errands or political agendas for anybody," Ruto warned.
