During interview with Ntv, controversial lawyer and political analyst Steve Ogolla was asked the reason why Uhuru has kept silence despite Ruto winning the elections .In his response Steve alleges that Uhuru has has kept the silence partly because his candidate,Raila is contesting the results and he is with him in the supreme court bid.
He explained that as the Azimio chairman,it is possible that Uhuru has rejected the results. He also advised that if the silence however compromises the stability of Kenya as a nation,he should rise above his position and stand as a president and send a message to Kenyans to be patient and await courts ruling.
He explained that Uhuru can actually congratulate Ruto on the basis that the commission had made the declaration of Ruto as the president elect.Steve says that on that condition, the president should join IEBC in congratulating Ruto for winning the top seat.
