Concern As MP Aspirant Vying on Different Party Votes For UDA Candidate Who He Will Later Face

Ainabkoi parliamentary aspirant William Cheraisi has today caused a stir online as he was pictured participating in the UDA nomination despite vying on a different party. Cheraisi will be vying for the seat using a National Vision Party ticket. However it is interesting to know why he is participating in the election and if he voted for any of his opponents. If yes, then the question is whom? and why

The law of course does not bar him from voting. This is because, UDA is not using the party register during this election, but instead are using the 2017 IEBC general election register. This is however limiting a number of people especially the new voters who registered after 2017 and would wish to participate.

UDA is the most popular party in the Rif Valley currently and even without voting for the MP aspirant that will run against him on a UDA ticket, he can still vote for MCA, Senator, Woman Rep and Governor.
