More Trouble For Cherera Four As What Awaits Them Even If They Resign Is Revealed

The four embattled Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Commissioners led by Vice Chair Juliana Cherera are being punished for their action of standing for what is true. The four embattled IEBC Commissioners were suspended from office by bitter president William Samoei Arap Ruto for protesting against the presidential election results during the recently concluded hotly contested 2022 general elections.

More trouble for the four embattled IEBC Commissioners led by Vice Chair Juliana Cherera as what awaits them even if they resign is publicly revealed to Kenyans. According to Citizen TV Kenya, deputy speaker of the National Assembly Gladys Shollei said that resignation cannot extinguish the duty of the Tribunal constituted to investigate IEBC Commissioners. She added that the tribunal will still interogate the four embattled IEBC Commissioners even if they resign and report back the facts.

"Resignation cannot extinguish the duty of the Tribunal constituted to investigate IEBC Commissioners. The tribunal must discharge its duty to interrogate their conduct and report on the facts. Kenyans deserve to know why they engaged in grave misconduct during the last election - Gladys Shollei." Tweeted by Citizen TV Kenya
