Yesterday, the president, Deputy President and the cabinet secretaries held a meeting to discuss matters of importance affecting the country both locally and internationally.
The cabinet meeting came after a long period of not having a one on one meeting a thing that the astray Jubilee party legislators have been criticizing for long.
Despite the cabinet meeting taking place at the height of political activities and events in the country, The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss matters of National and international importance.
However according to the standard a privy source revealed to them that the deputy President told the cabinet about the high cost of living and the hard economic times the country is going through.
He told them that Kenyan are suffering since the situation is out of hand.
"If you live in Kenya, you must be oblivious to the fact that the economy is struggling, the cost of living has increased, and people are suffering," the deputy President said.
