Speaking in citizen TV today governor Ann Waiguru has affirmed that she will exit jubilee party as she cannot defend her seat through the party come 2022. According to the governor the party has lost the support of the people in her region a reason she cannot defend her seat through UDA.
Ann Waiguru has also hipped a lot of praises on UDA Party and affirmed that it's a wealthy party and it's one that will be of concern to her moving into the 2022 general election. Therefore to her jubilee has lost focus for the last five years.
The fact of the matter is that the governor has affirmed that the Mt Kenya region seemingly is behind William Ruto come 2022 but they must know of their space as a region. Waiguru has also remained categorical that she will not defend her seat through Jubilee party.
This clearly is a big blue to Uhuru Kenyatta given the governor has already moved on away from the moribund party. The governor has affirmed that anybody trying to defend their seats through UDA Party are just wasting time for that would be very difficult even if one has performed well.
