Raila's bid to statehouse has today gotten a huge boost after Uhuru’s trusted cabinet secretary took to the campaign trail and asked the locals to vote for the former prime minister in the coming elections. This coming at a time when Raila and his team are busy on the campaign trail to popularise their bid.

This is not the first time that the vocal leader is accompanying Raila Odinga to his campaigns and openly endorsed him. He has done it before when him together with other leaders accompanied him to the same area a few months ago when he toured the area.
This is not the only minister who has been on the campaign trail to show solidarity with the ODM leader. Other include Peter Munya and the ICT cabinet secretary Joe Mucheru who has been instrumental and vocal on assuring Raila of a well deserved victory in the August polls.
